   1. Candidates WITHOUT health industry experience.
   2. Candidates who want to use the academy as induction training during the staff onboarding process in a healthcare practice (the candidate doesn't have to complete the course for interview preparation).
2. Option 2: Candidates WITH previous experience working in a healthcare practice.

Option 1: Candidates WITHOUT health industry experience.

• This is for
  • candidates who DO NOT have previous health industry experience and HAVE NEVER worked in a healthcare practice.
  • new personnel at healthcare practices using GoodX Software wanting to use the academy as induction training during the staff onboarding process. Take note that you don't have to do the course preparing you for an interview.
• This option requires the completion of the full GoodX Career Academy Curriculum: (click on the course links to navigate to the courses):
• 1. Introduction to Healthcare Practice Management (FREE)
  2. Understanding the POPI Act for the Healthcare Practice 2024 (R325)
  3. Data Protection Awareness Training for the Healthcare Practice 2024 (R225) 
  4. Introducing GoodX Software South Africa and the Click & Learn Courses (FREE)
  5. Click & Learn Workflows for Receptionists (FREE)
  6. Click & Learn Workflows for Cashiers (FREE)
  7. Click & Learn Workflows for Credit Controllers (FREE)
  8. Mastering Soft Skills focussed on the Healthcare Practice (R200)
  9. How do I prepare for and present myself in an interview? (R155)
• First, you have to complete these courses.
• Second, you have to download all certificates of completion and have the PDF files available for upload on the shadowing application form available in Phase 2.
• After completing all courses, you can enrol for Phase 2 of the Career Academy if you are interested in a job shadow opportunity.

Option 2: Candidates WITH previous experience working in a healthcare practice

• Option 2 is for candidates WITH previous health industry experience and have worked in a healthcare practice.
• Option 2 requires the completion of the following GoodX Career Academy Curriculum courses (click on them to navigate to the courses):
  
• 1. Introduction to Healthcare Practice Management (FREE)
  2. Understanding the POPI Act for the Healthcare Practice 2024 (R325)
  3. Data Protection Awareness Training for the Healthcare Practice 2024 (R225) 
  4. Introducing GoodX Software South Africa and the Click & Learn Courses (FREE)
  5. Click & Learn Workflows for Receptionists (FREE)
  6. Click & Learn Workflows for Cashiers (FREE)
  7. Click & Learn Workflows for Credit Controllers (FREE)
• First, you have to complete these courses.
• Second, you have to download all certificates of completion and have the PDF files available for upload on the GoodX Talent Bank application form available in Phase 3.
• Third, you have to get your previous employer's reference letter in PDF format to upload on the Phase 3 GoodX Talent Bank application form available in Phase 3.
• Then you can enrol for Phase 3 of the Career Academy.

• Phase 2 is available to candidates who successfully completed Phase 1 Option 1 and want to apply for a shadowing position at a healthcare practice.
• Application information is available within the Phase 2 course below.
• You must have the following documents in PDF format and link ready to upload with your application:
  • Your certificates of completion of the Phase 1 Option 1 courses.
  • Copy of ID document.
  • A good-looking photo of yourself - an ID photo is seldom complementary.
  • Proof of residence - we must know which practice would be accessible for you.
  • Completed and signed Shadowing Agreement & NDA.
  • Grade 12 certificate (if you are still in school, you can add your latest report card).
  • A YouTube link to a short video (maximum 3 minutes) in which you introduce yourself.
  • Please write your own 300-word story about any topic in your handwriting - please do not type the story or copy someone else's story. Upload a high-quality PDF of your handwritten story to the application form.
• Terms & Conditions apply.
  • Take note: candidates sign a Shadowing & Non-Disclosure Agreement since they will come into contact with personal information of the healthcare practice.
• Fee for shadow placement: R450.
• To apply, enrol for the Phase 2 course below.

• Phase 3 is available to candidates who:
  • Completed Phase 1 of the Career Academy, either Option 1 or 2, AND
  • Receive positive feedback from a healthcare practice after completing the shadowing program of Phase 2 OR 
  • Who have their previous healthcare employer's reference letter available as described in Phase 1 Option 2. Take note that you will have to keep the following documentation ready for upload if you did not proceed to Phase 2:
    • Your previous healthcare employer's reference letter available in PDF format.
      
    • PDF files of your certificates of completion of the Phase 1 Option 2 courses.
    • Copy of ID document.
    • A good-looking photo of yourself - an ID photo is seldom complementary wink
    • Proof of residence - we must know which practice would be accessible for you.
    • Grade 12 certificate (if you are still in school, you can add your latest report card).
